What the addition of four-star DE Dominic Kirks means for Ohio State’s defense

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State got a commitment from 2024 four-star defensive end Dominic Kirks on Saturday, continuing the strong few weeks on the recruiting trail. Kirks is rated as the No. 251 player in the country, the No. 33 defensive lineman and the No. 12 player in Ohio. The Painesville product did not commit on signing day in December, and decommitted from Washington last weekend during an official visit with the Buckeyes, and after Kalen DeBoer’s departure for Alabama. And with the addition of Kirks, the Buckeyes have helped patch one of the few holes in the class — and what might be coming for future Ohio State defenses.
