COLUMBUS, Ohio — As Ohio State football watched Michigan climb to the apex of the sport Monday night, the Buckeyes were able to salvage a spot in the top half of the final rankings. Ohio State was ranked No. 10 in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll of the season. That is the program’s lowest ranking since Week 6 of 2021, when it dipped to 11th, and the lowest season-ending standing since it finished 2013 at No. 12. The Buckeyes were ranked No. 7 prior to the Cotton Bowl against Missouri on Dec. 29. With a 14-3 victory, the Tigers jumped up one spot to No. 8, while OSU fell three spots.
