COLUMBUS, Ohio — Brandon Inniss has one catch as an Ohio State football player and it showcased every reason why people are so excited by his future. The freshman caught a fade route from Devin Brown for what should have been a 28-yard gain, then made a guy miss and proceeded to make it a 58-yard touchdown in a 41-7 win over Purdue. It’s the only time this season he’s had a chance to flash his potential this season thanks to not having the normal lead-up we’ve come to expect from players of his caliber. Inniss was the only five-star recruit in the Buckeeys’ 2023 recruiting class out of Florida rated as the No. 35 player and No. 5 wide receiver.
