MUSKEGON, MI – Cam Martinez is headed to Chestnut Hill. The former Muskegon Big Reds standout and two-time MLive Player of the Year award winner announced Saturday via social media that he will be headed to Boston College to continue his collegiate football career. The 5-foot-10 safety spent the past four years as a member of the Ohio State University football program but entered the transfer portal on Dec. 4 after appearing in just three games throughout the 2023 season for the Buckeyes. Martinez will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Eagles, who finished 6-6 this season and are preparing to play against SMU in the Fenway Bowl on Dec. 28.
