Marvin Harrison Jr. makes Ohio State All-America history, bolsters Buckeyes’ case for WR U


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Marvin Harrison Jr.’s did not only represent himself and his family when the Ohio State football receiver took the Heisman Trophy ceremony stage as a finalist. Harrison also became the most public face of the group which calls itself Zone 6. Buckeye receivers have produced record-breaking seasons and become first-round NFL Draft picks. Harrison, though, took the recognition to another level. “At Ohio State, we always feel like we have a chip on our shoulder,” senior receiver Xavier Johnson said. “So just being able to take this home for Zone 6 is something that’s huge. We continue to stack the accolades and we’re going to do that for years to come.” Harrison on Thursday added to the growing argument that Ohio State can claim the Wide Receiver U designation.
