What Jordan Seaton’s commitment to Colorado means for Ohio State: Buckeye Breakfast

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State nearly landed one of the best offensive line recruits it had in years on Thursday, but five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton committed to Colorado just when it seemed that the Buckeyes might have some momentum. Now, with just a few weeks before National Signing Day, it appears that Ohio State’s offensive line class will remain at four this cycle. So what does Seaton’s commitment mean? Notably, it means that Ohio State won’t get the chance to add a five-star recruit at the position, something that would take the offensive class in 2024 from very good to great. Now, of the three five-star players in the class, two are wide receivers (Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham) and the third is a quarterback (Air Noland).
