COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State just had its second-to-last big recruiting weekend of the year, a weekend in which dozens of recruits descended upon Ohio Stadium for the nighttime matchup against Michigan State. But while the list of committed players and uncommitted prospects is interesting, Ohio State over the last few weeks has had a few more interesting names on hand — players currently committed to other programs. On Saturday, offensive lineman Gabe VanSickle was in attendance. The 2024 prospect has been committed to Northwestern since May, but Ohio State remains interested in the interior offensive line prospect. Ranked No. 859 in the 247Sports Composite rankings as a three-star player, he would be the four offensive lineman in the class (joining Ian Moore and Deontae and Devontae Armstrong).
