COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez is set to make his commitment on Jan. 6 on. NBC, and it’s a commitment that Ohio State is feeling good about. The Houston, Texas-product has Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma and Texas also under consideration, but Ohio State appears to be the favorite headed into the final two months of his recruitment. And when it comes to the 2025 five-star cornerback, the Buckeyes are one of many teams that would welcome him with open arms. But what would it mean for Ohio State’s entire recruiting operation? Simply, adding Sanchez would mean that Ohio State would pull two five-star defensive linemen in 2024 (Justin Scott and Eddrick Houston), and would add to its already growing list of top cornerbacks committed.
