Ohio State football is actively trying to flip Minnesota safety commit

As this 2024 recruiting cycle has played itself out, Ohio State Football missed out on a few key prospects, specifically at the safety position. Some of the Buckeyes top targets opted elsewhere, so the writing was on the wall that in order to fill the need, a flip was most likely going to happen. On Monday evening, the ball started rolling as the Buckeyes offered Minnesota safety commit,Koi Perich. The 6-foot, 1-inch, 195-pound member of the secondary has been committed to the Gophers since mid-April, but the Ohio State offer has him reconsidering his options. On top of that, 247Sports Bill Kurelic is reporting (subscription required) that Perich will make a visit, but not for a game due to his high school football schedule.
