The Ohio State football team is coming off a ho-hum victory against the Wisconsin Badgers, 24-10. For its body of work, Ohio State was ranked No. 1 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the year. Even though the Buckeyes are the top dog right now in the CFP rankings, it doesn’t mean that our friends in the desert have adjusted their thoughts. As of the first of November, our friends at BetMGM have Ohio State sitting fourth in the odds to win the national championship. Here’s where things stand: Since our last time diving into these odds, the Wolverines were sitting with the second-best odds, but have now moved into the first slot. The Buckeyes have seen their odds shorten. The Penn State Nittany Lions were within the top ten before losing to Ohio State. It will be interesting to continue to monitor these odds.
