Ohio State is potentially on the verge of getting an important weapon back against Rutgers


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State hasn’t had its full receiving corps at its disposal since the Maryland game, but coach Ryan Day says that may change on Saturday at Rutgers. Emeka Egbuka left the win over the Terrapins with a lower-body injury and has been gradually working his way back. He came close to doing so Saturday against Wisconsin, but the Buckeyes decided he wasn’t quite there yet. “He was available on Saturday,” Day said. “We just didn’t feel like he was quite where he needed to be. Had a bunch of guys step up for him. But we’re looking for a full day of work here today then a full week. Going in we want him to be full go.
