COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has sprinkled Lorenzo Styles Jr. around, playing him on special teams occasionally and giving him some cornerback reps. The former Notre Dame receiver, who transferred in over the summer and switched positions, may soon complete his 2023 experience. Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday that the team wants to protect Styles’ redshirt eligibility. So whenever he plays again, it will be his fourth and probably final game of the season. “The plan is for him to play one more game, and then kind of go from there,” Day said. “We felt that if there was an emergency and we needed him then we were going to put him in the game.
