Former Ohio State offensive lineman offers thoughts on Michigan sign-stealing: Report


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones told the Associated Press in Cleveland that he thought Michigan knew the Buckeyes’ signs during a 45-23 loss in 2022. Jones told Tom Withers that they changed some signals, but couldn’t change everything in time for the game. He added that seeing the Wolverines line up knowing what was coming was, “a little demoralizing.” He added that the entire situation was, “sad to see.” Both the Big Ten and the NCAA are investigating Michigan for alleged violation of rules of scouting future opponents in person, while using improper electronic equipment. The Michigan staffer, Connor Stalions, was suspended with pay as, according to reports, he bought tickets to numerous Big Ten games, including potential College Football Playoff opponents.
