What Ohio State football coach Ryan Day said about sign stealing amid Michigan investigation


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day is taking the high road regarding the latest NCAA scrutiny around rival Mcihigan. Day’s first question at his Tuesday press conference was about how much his program worries about sign stealing in general. Day brushed aside the topic. “Anything regarding that I’m not going to comment on that today,” Day said. “I don’t want to get into that right now.” Yahoo first reported last Thursday that the NCAA began an investigation into Michigan’s possible use of in-person scouting, a bylaw violation, for the purpose of stealing play calling signals. ESPN followed up Friday with a report that named the analyst suspected of heading the operation: Connor Stalions.
