C.J. Stroud got the Ohio State homecoming he always deserved: Buckeye Breakfast


COLUMBUS, Ohio — C.J. Stroud returned to Columbus to watch Ohio State’s 20-12 win over Penn State and got to have a very different experience than the last time he was inside Ohio Stadium. His last game in Columbus didn’t go as planned. He suffered his second straight loss to Michigan while once again seeing any chance he had of winning a Big Ten title or a Heisman Trophy disappear. Then he spent the entirety of a postgame press conference taking it on the chin while his family watched him, understanding the gigantic red mark on his resume as a starting quarterback. We’re about 11 months removed from that 45-23 loss and Stroud is writing a new chapter in Houston.
