COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State earned its second Top 10 win of the season with a 20-12 win over Penn State at Ohio Stadium on Saturday. Here are a few observations from the afternoon: 1. Kyle McCord says the offense is “close” — but how close do they need to get? Count Kyle McCord as someone who isn’t very concerned about the Ohio State offense. “It’s small details,” McCord said postgame. “Whether that’s me, the O-line or the receivers, it’s the little things that can easily be cleaned up. Looking back on the film from Week 1, OK, I feel like there’s a lot to clean up. Every since, I feel like we’ve been getting better and better…The sky’s the limit.” But while McCord is right that the offense has improved, it needs to keep on improving, and speed up the process, before the Buckeyes play Michigan.
