5 things to know about Wisconsin football's next opponent, Ohio State

The current nine-game losing streak by the University of Wisconsin football program to Ohio State isn’t the longest it’s experienced against the Big Ten Conference powerhouse. As crazy as that seems. The Badgers have not defeated the Buckeyes in more than 13 years since a 31-18 upset under the lights of Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 16, 2010. Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell actually helped start the latest streak when he held interim coaching duties at Ohio State in 2011. The Buckeyes pulled off a last-minute, 33-29 win that season. Fickell also served as OSU’s co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach from 2012-2016 and was part of four other victories over Wisconsin in that span before moving on to lead Cincinnati.
