COLUMBUS, Ohio – As it turned out, Penn State wasn’t holding anything back. The Nittany Lions are who they appeared to be, which is what they’ve almost always been against Ohio State – 9 times out of 10, not good enough. Particularly, the PSU offense wasn’t of a caliber to offer any help to a resolute and physical defense. More specifically, a toothless group of wideouts gave quarterback Drew Allar few clear opportunities to connect, and the sophomore did even less to help himself in a generally dreadful performance.
