Penn State takes an elite defense with high-end playmakers into Ohio Stadium for a huge matchup with No. 3 Ohio State, which has brought the head-to-head series between the two programs back to the forefront. The Nittany Lions have a reputation for giving the Buckeyes all they can handle, but the series is still one-sided in the win column with Ohio State winning all kinds of battles to the tune of a 10-1 record in the past 11 games. The 2023 version could very well be Penn State coach James Franklin’s best yet, so the opportunity is there for the taking as Ohio State continues its own process to find itself. The Lions might even have a better team on paper, which only serves to ramp up the pressure for Franklin to deliver. A majority of our panelists believe he will.
