COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer isn’t interested in returning to coach college football, according to a report from the Knoxville News Sentinel. Meyer spoke about his future at the Knoxville Quarterback Club and stated that any wishes to return to coaching are in the past. The former national champion head coach went 83-9 at Ohio State from 2012-2018, with a national title win in the 2014 season. He left the program after the 2018 season, and was replaced by Ryan Day. Meyer had a disastrous season with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, and was fired before the season was over in his first and only NFL coaching season. He then settled into a role on FOX Sports as a television analyst, where he remains.
