COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State got over the 40-point threshold for the second time this season in Saturday’s 41-7 win over Purdue. In the process, quarterback Kyle McCord took some important strides at the best possible time, as the Buckeyes used the win over the Boilermakers to build momentum heading into a top-10 matchup with Penn State on Saturday at noon. One week after McCord posted his highest career Pro Football Focus grade, he topped that number again with an 85.0. Not only was it the highest grade of any OSU offensive player, it was the highest of any Big Ten quarterback. McCord was one of three players to grade out over an 80 in at least 20 snaps.
