COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the first time since 2019, Ohio State football’s annual clash with Penn State is a top-10 showdown in the college rankings. The Buckeyes held at No. 3 in the new Associated Press Top 25 poll and kept their single No. 1 vote. The Nittany Lions dropped one spot to No. 7 through no fault of their own. Washington was rewarded with a two-spot bump to No. 5 after beating then-No. 8 Oregon. This last meeting between the teams as Big Ten East rivals will be the fourth top-10 matchup in seven years. The Big Ten is going away from a divisional format, and the teams are not guarantees to play annually in the future.
