After starting slow for most of the season, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day said he wanted to see his team get out to a faster start. The Buckeyes did just that against Purdue on Saturday afternoon. Even while being down several starters including Treveyon Henderson and Emeka Egbuka, OSU would blow out the Boilermakers to a tune of 41-7. It was good to see the Scarlet and Gray clicking early. Yes, Purdue isn’t a great opponent, but the weather conditions were less than ideal, and Ross-Ade Stadium has proved to be a thorn in the Buckeyes side in recent years. Ohio State fans weren’t happy about the game being exclusively on Peacock but liked much of what the Buckeyes were able to do on the field.
