2025 three-star wide receiver commits to Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s 2025 class got a boost on Monday morning when Jayvan Boggs, a three-star recruit, officially announced his commitment to the Buckeyes. Boggs is the No. 368 player in the class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings, and the No. 50 wide receiver. He is now the second player, after four-star quarterback Tavien St. Clair, to be in the 2025 class. At 6-feet tall, from Cocoa, Florida, Boggs chose the Buckeyes over offers from Colorado, Foorida, Penn State, Ole Miss and in-state UCF and USF. A speedy target, he appears to fit into the mold of a slot receiver that can impact a defense both vertically and horizontally. He’ll join a crowded room, especially after the commitments of the 2024 class: A list that includes five-stars Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham and four-star Jeremiah McClellan.
