COLUMBUS, Ohio — As far as first halves go, it would be hard to draw up a more negative one for Ohio State. But a pick-six, timely defensive stops and a late clock error from Maryland kept the score tied at halftime. As it turned out, that was the best chance for Maryland to pull the stunner against Ohio State. Even a half-opening touchdown drive from the Terrapins wasn’t enough upset fuel, as the Buckeyes put together enough in the second half to pull away for a 37-17 win on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
