COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day said running back TreVeyon Henderson could have played Saturday against Maryland. Day did not specify the nature of the injury to the Buckeyes’ leading rusher. However, he did reference the third-year rusher’s 2022 injury history when explaining why he was ruled unavailable for the 37-17 victory. Day said he expects Henderson to play in the next game at Purdue. “It was one of those things where the question was, if he played the game, could he have a setback, if something happened in the game?” Day said. “The answer was yes.
