COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State returns to the field on Saturday following its off-week ready to dive into the thick of its Big Ten schedule, and up first is one of the only teams to give it a scare last season. Maryland is 5-0 for the first time since 2001 and looks ready to compete in the Big Ten East instead of being one of the division’s bottom feeders as it has been.
