COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s 2024 class had landed another commitment in Eric Mensah of Mountain View High School in Virginia. The nation’s No. 802 player and No. 53 edge rusher originally committed to Virginia Tech in July. But then the three-star recruit earned an offer from the Buckeyes and decided to flip to the class on the spot choosing them over nine other programs. Mensah joins five-stars Justin Scott and Eddrick Houston as defensive linemen in this class. Overall he is the 23rd commitment as 2024 class that ranks second nationally behind Georgia with 303.36 points. The two are the only programs over the 300-point threshold so far in this cycle.
