COLUMBUS, Ohio — The NFL season is underway, and the Ohio State football program will be well represented throughout the league. The Buckeyes will have 52 former players on active rosters. The group is headlined by the program’s latest first-round draft picks, C.J. Stroud, Paris Johnson Jr. and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Stroud was taken by the Houston Texans with the second pick, Johnson by the Arizona Cardinals with the sixth pick and Smith-Njigba went 20th to the Seattle Seahawks. The three picks tied the Buckeyes with Alabama and Georgia for the most first-round picks in this year’s draft.
