Will Indiana’s starting quarterback have to look over his shoulder against Ohio State?

BLOOMINGTON — A big part of Indiana football offensive coordinator Walt Bell’s job this year will be managing the psyche of his starting quarterback. Redshirt freshman Brendan Sorsby and Tayven Jackson spent the the entire offseason competing for the starting job. The Hoosiers have declined to publicly reveal their starting quarterback ahead of the season-opener against No. 3 Ohio State — the coaches have announced a decision internally — but it will be the first career start whether it’s Jackson or Sorsby who steps under center on Saturday. Bell spoke to reporters on Monday for the first time since making that decision and was asked if he had any concerns about the starting quarterback “looking over his shoulder” if they struggled against the Buckeyes given their inexperience and the prolonged nature of the competition?
