Josh Simmons, Josh Fryar set to start at left and right tackle for Ohio State football

Coach Ryan Day said Monday that Josh Simmons will “probably” start at left tackle when the Buckeyes open their season at Indiana on Sept. 2, while Josh Fryar is in line to be the starting right tackle. Simmons and Fryar were taking first-team reps in practice at those spots more than a week ago. Day did not name a starter at center, a spot where redshirt freshman Carson Hinzman is competing with Louisiana-Monroe transfer Vic Cutler. “Carson is a little bit ahead,” Day said, “but we’ll keep working for the next couple of weeks.”…
