Buford (Ga.) senior defensive lineman Eddrick Houston is a five-star recruit. He is the No. 22 player nationally, the No. 4 defensive lineman on the board, and the No. 5 prospect in Georgia in the 247Sports composite rankings. Houston has been flooded with college offers over the past four years. His first two were from Florida State as a freshman, followed by his home state team, Georgia. He took visits in May and June to USC, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama, and plans to announce his commitment on August 22. The On3’s prediction model, which currently has the Buckeyes as the heavy favorite at 88.1%. The other main contenders for his commitment are Georgia (3.6%), Clemson (2.4%) and Alabama (2.0%).
