Ohio State loses linebacker for the year due to ACL tear

In football, injuries are a part of the game and Ohio State Football has been bitten by that bug before. As for the 2023 season, up until today, there were no injuries of note for the Buckeyes. Unfortunately, that has changed as linebacker Kourt Williams has suffered his second torn ACL of his Ohio State career and will miss the upcoming season. It’s a blow to Williams, who suffered the same injury as a freshman in 2020, also during preseason training camp. The fourth-year player made the switch from safety to linebacker and was going to be looked at as providing solid depth for this coming season. The good news is that the Buckeyes are still in good shape at the position.
