COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is a top-five team in the preseason AP Top 25 poll for the sixth straight season and ninth in the last 10 years. What remains to be seen is if the Buckeyes can do something they haven’t done in almost a decade — end the season with the No. 1 ranking reserved for the national champion. Ohio State received one No. 1 votes and is ranked No. 3 in the preseason rankings, released Monday. Two-time defending national champion Georgia was the runaway No. 1 with 60 of 63 votes for the top spot. Michigan is No. 2, receiving two top votes.
