Michigan’s football program lost an important recruiting battle to Ohio State on Sunday night. Springfield (Ohio) 2024 four-star cornerback Aaron Scott announced his commitment to the Buckeyes in a live video on social media. The 6-foot 170-pound top-100 prospect chose OSU over other finalists Michigan and Oregon. At the Kay M Glaesner Community Center in Springfield, he set away OSU and Oregon hats that were on a table in front of him that made it appear like he would be picking Michigan, but after holding up a Wolverines backpack, he pulled a Buckeyes jersey out of it. His announcement also comes on the birthday of his father, who is an OSU fan. Scott’s decision is a crushing blow for the Wolverines, who have five commitments from Ohio players this cycle.
