SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Tim Walton had two top objectives for Ohio State’s 2024 cornerback class and he has now checked off both following the commitment of Aaron Scott of Springfield High School. The nation’s No. 52 player and No. 5 cornerback chose the Buckeyes over 28 other schools with the battle coming down to them, Michigan and Oregon. He joins fellow four-star recruits Bryce West and Miles Lockhart as cornerback commits in the class. Scott and West are among the eight in-state commitments in this class which ties the 2020 class for the most in any cycle during the Ryan Day era with eight. Unlike the 2020 group, every commit in the 2024 class is among the top 23 players in Ohio.
