Ryan Day says Ohio State starting QB competition still unsettled

Stroud, get his name called by the Texans at the 2023 NFL Draft as the second overall pick in April. That was a high point for Day and Stroud, but it meant the Ohio State coach officially needed to find a replacement at quarterback for the upcoming season. Stroud led the Buckeyes to an 11-2 record last season, throwing for 3,688 yards, 41 touchdowns and six interceptions. He moved on to the NFL, though, and Day now has a quarterback competition between Kyle McCord and Devin Brown that has yet to be settled.
