What Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa’s Notre Dame commitment means to Ohio State football: Buckeyes Recruiting


COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the second straight season, Ohio State has finished as a runner-up in a battle for a player from California St. John Bosco High School losing out to Notre Dame for Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa. The four-star recruit was once the first 2024 recruit offered by the Buckeyes when he and a few of his teammates visits Columbus in June 2021 to attend a camp. The program has since constantly sat among his top options as he’s turned into the nation’s No. 102 player and No. 8 linebacker. Despite being well-positioned to once again find success as the prominent high school to go alongside wins in 2017 in Wyatt Davis and 2020 in Kourt Willimas, they fell short once again.
