Why WR Kaleb Brown transferred to Iowa: 'Just how stacked we were at Ohio State'

Kaleb Brown wasn’t shy about sharing his reasoning for transferring from Ohio State. Joining the Buckeyes’ 2022 class as a four-star player and the No. 13 wide receiver in the country, Brown told Rivals the reason behind him transferring to Iowa was because of the depth of Brian Hartline’s wide receiver room. “Going into the transfer portal — my reasoning for leaving — was just how stacked we were at Ohio State,” Brown said. “The two boxes I wanted checked were quarterback stability and a place where I could work for a spot and play immediately.
