Former Ohio State RB Maurice Hall returns to ABC soap opera 'General Hospital'

A former Ohio State football running back has made his way to “General Hospital.” Maurice Hall, who played for the Buckeyes from 2001-04 and helped Ohio State win a national championship in 2002, appeared on his second episode of the long-running ABC soap opera, reprising is role of Gordon Stevens: a former patient of Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt, who is played by Roger Howarth.

According to IMDB, Hall’s first appearance as Stevens was was Sept. 29, 2022 before returning to the show June 20. Hall will also appear on Friday’s episode of “General Hospital.” In four seasons at Ohio State, Hall recorded 974 rushing yards and six touchdowns, including four for the Buckeyes’ national championship-winning 2002 team. He averaged 4.1 yards per carry. Hall scored game-winning touchdowns in Ohio State’s 23-16 overtime win against Illinois and the Buckeyes’ 14-9 win against Michigan in 2002.
