One of Ohio State football’s newest defensive linemen is putting in some work ahead of his first fall with the Buckeyes. Tywone Malone joined Ohio State’s roster as its seventh transfer portal addition ahead of the 2023 season. And ahead of his first game with the Buckeyes Sept. 2 against Indiana, Malone posted a video of him going through drills with a personal trainer with the caption “Unfinished Business.” In the video, Malone was wearing Ohio State-colored gloves and cleats. Malone committed to Ohio State May 9, joining former Ole Miss teammate Davison Igbinosun, who joined the Buckeyes as a cornerback in January. Ohio State lists Malone, a Jamesburg, New Jersey native, as a 6-foot-4, 315-pound defensive tackle. After two seasons with the Rebels, Malone has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
