Ohio State’s Ryan Day supports NFL solutions to college football’s player rights issues


COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day has not shied from adapting offensive concepts he learned in the NFL to the Buckeyes’ system. He believes all of college football should also look to the NFL for solutions to some of its issues. That includes the rights athletes have in the name, image and likeness era. In discussing his desire for a more cohesive structure across the sport on Joel Klatt’s Big Noon Conversations podcast, Day enumerated the ways the NFL has already dealt with some of the same concepts.
