Ohio State football returned to its Glenville High School pipeline Saturday to add a tight end to the 2024 class. Four-star tight end Damarion Witten is joining the Buckeyes’ recruiting class, coming in as the No. 19 tight end in the country and the No. 11 prospect in the state of Ohio per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Witten chose Ohio State with offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas, among others. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound tight end from Cleveland is the latest in a long line of Glenville football players to make the jump to Ohio State, along with wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr., cornerback Marshon Lattimore, safety Donte Whitner, quarterback Troy Smith, quarterback Cardale Jones and 2023 linebacker signee Arvell Reese.
