COLUMBUS, Ohio — One week removed from taking his official visit Dyland Stewart has cut his list down to five schools with Ohio State making the cut. The nation’s No. 9 player and No. 2 edge rusher included the Buckeyes on a list that also includes Georgia, Maryland, Miami and South Carolina. The Terrapins are the only school on the list that didn’t get an official visit from the five-star this June and may only be represented on this list as the hometown program. Stewart came to Columbus as part of OSU’s third round of official visitors in a group filled with five-star recruits, most of which should be viewed as longshots. He falls under that same category despite multiple visits over the past six months. But even as such, a caliber of player such as himself is still viewed as a much-need for the program.
