COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s win on the recruiting battle can serve as another example that the program still has the juice regardless of who it’s going up against. Jaylen McClain wasn’t even on the Buckeyes’ radar when he put out a top 10 in February ready to cut down his list of schools. But all of that went out the window the moment he got an offer in March. He followed that up with an unofficial visit in April, immediately setting up an official visit in June and now he’s OSU’s first commitment of the summer as the program attempts to get its defensive recruiting going.
