He was just 42. Brown had a wife and four children according to a release from ESPN. It’s a sad day for Buckeye nation, when one of their own was taken far too early in life. Personally, Brown and I were teammates at Ohio State for two seasons and I have very fond memories of him. He was a key member of the 2003 Ohio State team that went 44-21, won the Big Ten Tournament, swept the Auburn regional, and eventually lost in the super regionals to Southwest Missouri State.
