COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State debuted a new format to its June day camp schedule that led to a more condensed version of what’s typically a day-long affair. In the past, mornings have been dedicated to the big men with offensive and defensive linemen going through drills with coaches before closing things out with a competitive one-on-one session known as ‘winner-loser.’ Then after a small recess, it’s the skill position player’s turn to do the same in the afternoon featuring quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties. That is no longer the schedule and now everything is happening at the same time. That means for about four hours, there’s a lot happening on OSU’s campus and the first day of camp was proof of that.
