HEATH ? A disappointing finish at last year’s Division III regional meet turned into a source of motivation for Buckeye Trail senior Koen Eagon. Buckeye Trail senior Koen Eagon races the 300 hurdles during Friday’s Division III regional track and field meet. Eagon finished fourth and earned a state berth. Last year Eagon made the finals of the 300-meter hurdles, but failed to make the top four places to earn a trip to Columbus for the state meet. On Friday evening at Heath High School, Eagon got a redo in those same 300-meter hurdles and this time made that motivation pay off by capturing a berth to the Ohio High School Athletic Association track and field state championships.
