It wasn’t easy for Ohio State men’s doubles tennis team of Andrew Lutschaunig and James Trotter as they faced off against Texas with a championship on the line. © Provided by Buckeyes Wire Ohio State men’s tennis doubles win a National Championship The Buckeyes duo battled the Longhorns who kept battled but eventually Ohio State outlasted them and hoisted a championship trophy. Although the team didn’t win the overall title, Lutschaunig and Trotter helped the Buckeyes come home with some hardware. Ohio State won the first set 6-4, then took the second to capture the title. The senior pair close out their Buckeye career is style, even though their ultimate goal was not quite attained bringing all the hardware home.
