On Kirk Herbstreit and Ohio State football fans To Brian: Kirk Herbstreit was spot on with his comments about the lunatic fringe of Buckeye supporters. They never played the game or coached at any level. They expect every opponent to be of the caliber of most of the cannon fodder in early-season games or the weak sisters in the Big 10, 12, 14 (whatever the number will be in the future). I wonder if the folks in Alabama are calling complaining because Coach Saban did not win a championship the last two years. By the way, remember these same fans ran Kirk out town because he would be frank about the Buckeyes’ performance during games.
